DREAM OF SPRING – Harpist Jessie Fleet and Violinist Brigitte Amyot

March is the month when we enjoy Celtic music on St. Patrick’s Day and look forward to the coming of spring. Jessie and Brigitte are daughter and mother. They are part of Musicalement Fleet, a musical family where even the youngest members participate on vocals and percussion at their rehearsals.

Brigitte is a member and Personnel Manager of both the Gatineau Symphony Orchestra and the Thirteen Strings Chamber Ensemble. As well as performing with local Choirs and Ensembles she teaches and conducts String Ensembles and runs a Strings Camp.

Jessie is a solo harpist for many events, from weddings to musical theatre.  She also plays for regional orchestras and teaches.

This concert includes many familiar tunes, starting with a traditional Irish tune, followed by a wide variety beautiful musical scores.  A full list will be available on the program.

Admission is by a cash donation.  The weather shows warmer temperatures all week along with some rain so we won’t need to postpone this one!
